Meet the Owners of Teknik Consulting LLC
Co-Founder & Materials Engineer
Michael holds a PhD, is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Minnesota, and is an Associate Professor of Engineering at Bemidji State University. Michael is also a maker with a broad background in blacksmithing, metalworking, and woodworking. He is excited to be able to use his knowledge and experience to help solve engineering problems for companies in Minnesota and around the world.
Co-Founder & Mechanical Engineer
Mitchel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. After college, Mitch began working as a Mechanical Engineer at Electric Power Door designing industrial door systems and components. Mitch was born and raised on the Iron Range in Hibbing, MN. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, snowmobiling, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
Giving Back & Having Fun!
Teknik Consulting LLC was founded because we wanted to use our engineering expertise to make a difference in our local community of Northern MiNNESOTA.
That is why when we’re not working on engineering projects or consulting with clients, you can find us supporting a variety of local organizations.
Over the summer, we wanted to show our support for local racers and provide them with the resources they need to compete so we sponsored several drivers. We provided money, and technical assistance to help these drivers succeed. We felt that this was a great way for us to use our engineering background to give back to the community and encourage more people to get involved in racing.
